Data and information presented in the national reports are collected through a policy questionnaire fulfilled after the analysis of equity-related policy documents and consultations with relevant institutions and experts and focus group and interviews with policy makers, school principals, teachers, school support staff, students, parents, civil society organisations and educational experts. Focus groups and interviews are implemented to obtain stakeholders’ perspective on equity-related issues in general and in the educational context of the ARISE countries. The policy briefs are summaries of the findings presented in the national reports.
The national reports and policy briefs conceptualize the challenges present in the education system of a specific country and offer reccommendations for action on policy level. One of the final outputs of the ARISE project are policy road maps - documents that act as guides to policy design and implementation that expands on the recommendations presented in the national reports and the policy briefs. Each policy road map is written with respect to the context of a specific country - the issues present in the education system and the obstacles that nedd to be overcome in order to achieve progress. The policy road maps are available in both English and the native language of the respective country.
